Description

Graduate in geology, PhD in geochemistry (2007). Research interests: reconstruction of anthropogenic activities, climate fluctuations and their interconnections using a multiproxy approach in peat bogs. Through multiple international collaborations he gathers the age (14C, 210Pb, 137Cs), biological (pollen, macrofossils, testate amoebae, humification) and geochemical proxies (major and trace elements, Pb and C isotopes) on ombrotrophic bogs from Poland, Belgium, France and Iceland.
